Designing with Empathy, Driven by Curiosity
Creating meaningful, user-first digital experiences with clarity, emotion, and impact.
Hi, I’m Herry Lee — a UI/UX designer from Taiwan, now based in Sydney. I hold a Master’s in Interaction Design from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor’s degree from the Design Academy Eindhoven in the Netherlands.
I’ve explored colour and material concepts for future mobility at BMW in Munich, led product storytelling and crafted user-centred digital experiences at Benel in Singapore, helped shape the brand and website experience for a growing fintech team at Maqro, and previously guided master’s students in interaction design methodologies as a Casual Academic at the University of Sydney.
Design Philosophy
Designing with intuition, built to inspire and perform.
Aesthetics with Purpose
My design practice blends clarity and storytelling to simplify complexity into intuitive, engaging user experiences. I pay close attention to colour and material, using them to shape tone, structure, and emotion.
Across every project, I aim to create designs that are accessible, emotionally resonant, and grounded in real user needs.
